  1. Saturday Shave
    My exercise in Extravagance

    Flavor - Et Tu
    Simpsons brush
    Thiers-Issard 6/8 Rams horn 889

A great shave today which can be had for much lower cost and maintenance. But it did make the guy in the mirror happy.

  2. You consistently claim that some of your razors aren't efficient. I know with good angle control all my razors will produce the same result.

  6. Yes-the participants may be satisfied, but at the "cost" of a penalty. Shux. When it comes to price, let me say.....Phoenix AA, you are NO STOYLIN.

  7. I equate efficiency with aggressiveness. I have a Rockwell 6C, a Rockwell Model T, a Fatboy, a Gillette Slim, a Gillette Red Tip, a Van der Hagen TTO, a GE Jones and a Schick Injector in my den. My Rockwells, and my injector are my most effficient razors. I get great shaves with my other ones because my technique with them is top notch because I get BBS or near BBS with two passes. I like blade feel and my Rocky"s and the Schick give it to me.
  8. Stoylin does a Smoky reminder too, right?

English, tallow soap with lanolin for protection and glide.

Isle of Man synthetic bristles to apply aforementioned soap.
Italian Extrait de parfum for the finish.
    A European fair with flair.
Traditional 3-pass shave, including a feeble attempt at an ATG neck-pass,
left my face very smooth and without scarring of any kind.

After cleaning off the soap residue with my new go-to duo of Thayer's Unscented Witch Hazel

This juice is quite potent and I have found that if you are going to use it,
avoiding the neck and upper chest area is a must.
I aimed at my solar plexus and beer belly.
