  2. Good morning Gary.....I got 54 likes between last night and now(many of 'em from "Brit"). Now I have a chance to catch @wristwatchb in this category, but he probably picked up 54 himself.

  9. Good morning everyone! The fellas at Rocky Mtn. Barber Co. just sent me an e-mail, asking me for my reaction to the Barbershop "Shaving Cream In A Tub". Forced me to get that one out for tomorrow, then I'll contact them. This information will be confirmed in my Tues. plan, to be done later. I should add, "Shaving Cream In A Tub" are my quotes, not theirs.

    Dixie Master Barber straight
    Frank Shaving travel brush
    Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite (vintage)
    Royal Copenhagen cologne

Awesome lather courtesy of a new brush to the den. It is suppose to be a travel brush but it is bigger than I expected. The tube and end caps were blue but I bead blasted those and then Scotch Brighted the finish. Comparison photo of the brush with a few others from the den. T3 Trafalgar and MrEE LE #011.

I decided to get the Dixie out this morning. This is one I had honed with lapping film. While it is not there with the Diamondine it is doable. Two passes on the cheeks and three on the neck with no blood loss. The alum was barely noticeable. I actually shaved with a razor I honed and stropped. :happy093:

A little witch hazel followed by the Royal Copenhagen cologne and this one was in the bag.

Have a great Monday gentlemen.....I'll probably get about three more this week. :D

  11. Great shave Danny. Love the scales on that razor and hope you have a great day!
  12. Fine shave once again this morning.....After such a loooooong time it is nice to see the prOHgress I'm making in the Jeeves Bay Rum tub. That's what happens with 7 oz. though. Anyway, a 1:00 load time getting it onto the Stoylin li'l brudder. The first batch(left cheek)went on a little wet, then it dried out a little for the rest. Some of the soap on South Porcupine was SWALLOWED accidentally. I'm still alive, so all is well, but I'd rather not do that again. The shave itself got going in fine fashion all around, I should have done better at the Northeast border of N. Cactus Nation and S. Porcupine-close to the ingrowns. The soap, thus, did better on my face and neck than in my mouth. No cuts/Knicks. Nice finish with the Stephan Bay Rum A.S. Super Duper Excellent.

  16. Danny, I might be getting yet another aftershave/cologne from The Perfume Spot, and one of the reviewers said he thinks it's the best, sexiest, scent for men he's ever tried, with Royal Copenhagen coming in second. No doubt that's a message of encouragement for us RC fans :).

  17. sorry Gary, I deleted my post about Royal Copenhagen that you gave me a like on, because I meant it as a reply for Danny, not DaveinKY. Course if you "like" this post too, we're all good.
