July 12 SOTA Good afternoon gents! 1959 Gillette Fatboy (9) Rockwell DE (Last round) Jayarah #290 White Synthetic Brush Chiseled Face SS and AS Maggard's Alum Block Dickinson's WH Whiskers: 30.5 hrs I decided an Über Menthol Monday shave was the order of the day so Cryogen got the call. I used very little of the soap so that the lather was thin, but slick. I could see my skin in some areas, but it still was a workable lather. I will say that with the small amount of lather, it still froze my face. I just love it! Lol Two passes gave my a BBS - (Grade A-) shave. There weren't any incidents during this shave. Did my normal postshave and I feel invigorated. Have a great rest of the afternoon and evening fellas!
yes sir..the techs have their place.i prefer my new rfb's ,mostly the 3 piece ones.i can use those daily if i had to..i wouldn't use my brit aristocrats or rocket hd types daily..
One of the best investments I have ever made was buying a portable generator big enough to power my whole house and converting it to run off of my natural gas. No trips to the gas station, no long gas station lines.
Not much time today. On OT this week. But when goodies showed up on a vacation trip from Kentucky, the demand was high. Stirling Suds and Stanks, Dunshire flavored. WCS 2 tone tall brush Blackland Vector SB Schick Proline (1) What a delightful shave. I can see why people love these things. I have not used anything with a small maneuverable like this has. Just a little finicky loading and unloading, not a deal breaker though. I could really see this being nice for side to center under the jaw ATG work. Do I love this tool good enough to cough up 2 Benjamin bucks? We will see. Great evening gang.
Mine just runs the necessities but runs on propane which is readily available and I keep quite a bit at the house anyway. Good insurance as since buying the power is seldom out now
Thanks Bill! All I hope is that we can learn from each others experiences with each razor ( tool ) we use. I know I've more or less missing here. Sorry.... But when I use a razor that doesn't have a safety bar every day, with a new Feather blade each time, head and face, anyone should be able to. I'm not a guy that has used a real razor or sharp blade for years. I'm not a guy that even thought he would ever be able to use such a perfect tool, let alone every day. I'm the newbie on blood thinners that proved technique trumps tools, every time. Ride the cap. Light pressure. Practice, practice, practice. Your time, effort and patience will be rewarded. I will thank everyone who replied to my meger posts. I am in debt to all who cheered, complimented me, even in jest. Thanks again. That my friend is cool. tp
