  3. My shoulders and elbows took the worst beating over the years but I could probably throw darts. I can't throw a ball with any force anymore. That range of motion causes me pain.

    July 13th-15th

West Coast Shaving/Zingari Man SS & RS - The Soloist
Brad Sears Shave Works Disco - Hybrid Badger
    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Star Jelly
    Drew Dick 7/8 Damascus

Been using this setup the past few days....a bit lazy not changing it up, but the combination rocks, smells divine. This BSSW disco brush flat out gets the job done, bowl lather, face lather...doesn't matter. ZM's shave soap, some of the best goopy yogurt slick face feel goodness to swipe off. 2.5 smooth quiet passes each morning with the DD Damascus blade, with the grain (n-s) for the first pass, cross the grain diagonally (in to out), then the opposite cross the grain for the jawline/neck only (out to in, toe nearly straight down). Super smooth results, only weeper was today, a small red spot on the upper lip. A bit of face nourishment and cooling from PAA's Star Jelly, which is unscented but slightly mentholated. Followed with the matching Recovery Splash, a perfect boozy peppery fragrance with a hint of tobacco (like pipe tobacco, not flowery tobacco). Wifey super approved.

Image....iPhone, dark room, LED flashlight, black glossy vinyl backdrop.

Hope everyone is having a Terrific Thursday!

    Shavette Shave # 137

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: RenRen Shavette
    Blade: Perma-Sharp (3)
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
Lather: Dr. Jon’s Gravity (JustOneJuly Soap Weekdays)
Aftershave: Stirling Margaritas in the Artic
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera

Anther super close shave with the shavette before heading out to the Palm Beach Zoo with the family. We have a hot day, about 90 degrees, to stroll around the zoo which was predominantly shaded. Of course, it was nothing like the Bronx Zoo but we manage to see some interesting animals. Below is a lorikeet:
