  6. Single Edge Showdown
    Blackland Vector
    vs
    Clauss Automatic

New and modern is cool, sharper and easier. The end product is a great shave with either.

I still might buy a Vector.

  7. very cool Bill...have you added a 3rd cart yet?;)..:eatdrink047:

  16. 2 Shavemobiles shoud be sufficient to move the items ‘on deck’ back and forth from the shave storage annex I need to build.

  18. Have you tried bottled water (and not some that's re-bottled city water)?

I know there's the whole TTT thing....but I had good days/horrible days with MWF, and it's the only soap I've run into the issue with. Sometimes I'd swirl it for 30 seconds and nothing that looks like lather appeared. The more I think about it, maybe it's placebo effect, but maybe the bad days were warm/hot days in DFW. Good days were when I was using in fall/winter (which is when I bought my first puck). 90+ ground temps....sends our tap water into the marginal zone of drinkability if you consider contaminates @400-600 PPM. I bought a tester a long time ago, we now drink filtered water from one of those stand alone shops locally (been around 20+ years with a reverse osmosis system, he loves showing it off, a 2k gallon system). Our drinking water measures 0 PPM, tastes great, $0.20/gallon still after 10 years.

IIRC (and I definitely could be wrong), Andrew (Linuxguile) also went down a similar thought process (high PPM being a concern) a couple years ago about the same time as I with MWF. The 2nd try for me (last summer) was in the middle of the hot times before I sent it your way.

I wish I would have taken MWF on a trip with me to south Louisiana. The water is so soft there....it feels like soapy bath water even without adding soap! I bet I could've TTT'd the MWF then....:happy097:
  19. Nice video, Mr. Cawtuh. I liked how you talked about blade insertion, getting it in just right.
