  10. Lovely New/Karve frankenrazor shave and photo, Gary! With respect to your question, shiny is nice unless you’re a patina fan. As a longtime collector of various and sundry I’ve never cared much for patina. One of the guys in my Triumph Club got his knickers in a knot when I decided to restore my TR6 15 or so years ago. He claimed I was destroying its value! I said I didn’t care; it was my car! Offered him the opportunity to purchase it for twice what it was worth to “preserve” its patina. He wasn’t interested. Go figure!

  16. i get it..;).i would prefer to find a mint set with it's original plating intact, just never seen one..to be honest i don't use this one enough to justify a replate, but if i did it probably wouldn't be in gold.so it's value would be a lot less..:):eatdrink047:.thank you Jeff.:)

  20. I love my Vector, Bill, but before you pop for one you should try my Colonial General V2. It is easily equivalent to the Vector, and I prefer its heft. Let’s do that lunch or breakfast. I could meet you halfway. Let me know.
