Since I can remember I’ve always loved the smell of bay rum because it’s so old school and barbershoppy. Fernando’s Frosted Bay Rum soap has such a beautiful scent, the tallow formula promotes awesome lather which whips up so thick, rich, and slick, there’s a very good menthol sensation, and the postshave feeling is great. I had a wonderful soothing, cooling feeling from the Prep, and the Krampert’s Bay Rum aftershave has excellent skincare along with its lovely scent which never disrupts any fragrance. Today’s shave was picture perfect!

The Arko High Performance Shave Cream lathered well with the Heldtite Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sunday Schick shave, July 18th 2021

Razor: Schick adjustable injector, M3- Mfg 1970-72, this adjustable will suit most folks, setting 3 is mid range for myself, nice feel to this razor.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector(9) Very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely and predictable.
Soap: Razorock Lavender, discontinued for now, great scent that is addictive almost, excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Chianti's 24mm synthetic, Excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with Witch hazel. No balm today.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Schick injector adjustable M3 with a Personna coated injector.
