Very nice shave this morning with the Merkur adjustable. Dialed it back a little for the final pass since the generic blade was lacking a bit of smoothness.

This Derbylux is a very nice cream from Hungary which is no longer in production so for that reason I don’t use it often and whenever I do I really enjoy it a lot. The scent is beautiful - sporty with minty notes, it gives thick, rich, creamy lather that’s quite slick, it has a pleasant menthol sensation, and the postshave feeling is very comfortable. The Prep and the Aqua Velva took good care of me afterwards. Another great shave and hopefully the Schick blade will last for the weekend!

The CTAPT Shave Cream lathered well with the B-400 Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER Original Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Yaqi Excalibur 50mm- Mfg 2021, excellent mid range, 1st 50mm blade razor I owned and its enjoyable with the Kai Protouch. Carefree shave today.
Blade: Kai Protouch MG(1) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. One of my favorite blades to use, carefree.
Soap: Razorock The Dead Sea, interesting scent with excellent lather qualities IMO.
Brush: Yaqi 24 mm boar bristle- it stopped shedding months ago and it has turned out to be great brush, great lather generator, soft tips , nice scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock The Dead Sea AS with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea with 2 drops of HA.
Results: CCS,DFS, BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur with a Kai Protouch blade.

First use M on the beard was mild but effective, no issues finding proper angle/pressure despite limited feedback. Switching to H plate for head shave second pass was more my speed, more blade feel but still an easy comfortable shave.
