    Greetings,

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

It's been a while since i last added the fine fresh vetiver soap to my soap rotation and forgot how good of a lather this soap gives in a short space of time...

Another comfortable shave this morning from the Baili razor & blade duo. The Platinum + blade has surprised me with it's mild yet efficient smoothness.

An acceptable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd President EdT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

    Razor: Pearl Flexi at 3.5
    Blade: Wizamet (3)
    Brush: Rubberset 400 Cashmere
    Soap: Hub City RCITW
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: CHH Tobacco
    Fragrance: Amouage Sunshine Man
    Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 991

Built like a Tank the Flexi gave a superb shave. It's machined brass with a triple layer matte finish that is attractive and easy to clean. It has the heft of the brass too but while a heavy razor it was easy to use and maneuver. Nice razor but the Gibbs would have it beat for me. Again no rash decisions but it'll be on a short list if I reduce razors down the road. I do want to try some different blades in it too. used a blade from the Winner razor that puts a good bend in the blade and I want to see if a fresh one would perform differently. Amouage Sunshine Man to top everything off before services today......Need I say more. Amouage is always a "Go Big or Go Home" scent strength juice producer and this is no exception. Have a great day Guys !

SOTD SUNDAY MORNING, JULY 25, 2021

I have a friend who talks about the ultimate ultimate sharpness of a Feather Super, and how he’s never experienced a regular straight razor honed to that level of sharpness. But then again, he’s never shaved with one of Victor Creazzi’s razors. I own two, and am amazed at the build quality, but what really blows my mind is the amazing edge he puts on his creations. “Bone Mosaic” is the name he gave to this gorgeous SanMai constructed, pattern-welded Damascus razor. In conjunction with Howard Schlecter’s four-sided “Constroption”, it just continues to deliver amazing shave after shave. It is now without doubt the favorite razor in my collection. This morning’s three pass mug shave put the baby to bed and left me porcelain smooth.

Autostrops have seemingly grown quite popular on TSD of late. I own 5, all the C models with the exception of the VB1. For this morning’s dome shave, I selected the VB2, the purported luxury Valet Autostrop. It is silver plated and came in a purple velvet lined shiny metal case with accompanying silver plated Valet blade box. I loaded a fresh Feather FAS-10 carbon steel blade and stropped it 40 strokes. The MWF lather felt great on the old noggin as I applied it with the Alpha Shaving T-400 Tribute brush fitted with a hybrid knot ferrule. Two ATG passes and yours truly was left cool, clean and velveteen smooth.

RAZOR: Victor Creazzi Damascus 7/8 (Mug), Valet Autostrop Model VB2 (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather FAS-10 (Dome)
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T-400 Tribute with 24mm Hybrid Knot Ferrule
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Krampert’s Frostbite AS splash.

Happy Sunday Everyone. I enjoyed the software so much yesterday, I decided to use the same software lineup today. I had a Rex Ambassador razor that I sold last year. I finally gave into seller's remorse and bought another Rex with their July sale. I have another razor, I pre-ordered inbound that should arrive this week. So I think I will be having an Adjustable August mini focus. Now for today's shave, the MrEE brush loaded and lathered the Donkey Milk soap with ease. I started the shave with the Rex set on 2 but moved it to 3 after the first stroke. The remainder of the shave was smooth and uneventful. Three passes and touch ups ended in a BBS shave. I did get one operator induced weeper. I finished off the Fine Platinum this morning. Now that I have the Supremacy Silver EdP, I will not replace the Fine Platinum. I am off to visit my Mom for the day. She decided against going to church so we will have lunch instead. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

I have a Madein Carbon Steel pan I use all the time.

I have the Tatara Muramasa inbound. I had preordered the razor and received the invoice on last Tuesday and immediately paid it. Federal Express International shipping was included in the price which was a very nice touch given the price of the razor.

Much better shave this morning(26th)than yesterday, with most of the same as yesterday except for the Stoylin No-Name brush. 0:50 to load the brush. Very careful all around(I didn't want any more cuts/Knicks, and thankfully didn't get any more). I think I spent too much time moistening the brush under the sink tap , or not squeezing out the water enough, as a liquid "solution" formed in the middle of the soap puck. This happened once before, I think it was with another Central Texas Soaps puck.Didn't affect the shave though. Just means I should go easier on the H2O next time. I find it tough to say that, being the Vice-President of BLOOMERS OVER AMERICA or whatever we call ourselves. The Aqua Velva found a way to slide through my cupped hand and became Niagra Falls(although not as forceful as other NFs). Must continue to work on that. But it got on fine. I'm refreshed and ready for more Olympics....Super Duper Excellent.
