As Joe, @Trigger, previously mentioned, it is a beautiful day here on LI. I was up early this morning to go to the pre surgery consultation with the doctor. He fitted me with the brace that will be a constant companion for at least two weeks post surgery.
The donut hole is developing nicely. I figure about 8 or 9 shave before it meets the same demise s the Edmund Fitzgerald.
The razor for today’s shave is my second acquisition from Drew Dick. It has a hefty quarter hollow blade which to me is n entirely different feel from his half hollow Damascus. Both give great shaves. Today was no exception. Three passes left my face closely shaven without my incident.

    Have a great day gentlemen.
