The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #414 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop A1 Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Feather Pro Guard blade (4)
    Dscosmetics synthetic brush
    Arko shave soap
    Stetson cologne

I had to hunt the Arko up. It took a while but I finally found it and pulled it from the back of the cabinet. I can tolerate Arko. It lathers great but the scent is just a turn off for me.

Another very nice Essence shave this morning. Three passes on the neck and two on the cheeks. The alum gave very little feed back this morning.

I think I'm going to take the training wheels off and load a Feather Professional blade in the morning.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday.

    Hi Friends,

    here my today’s shave.

    9689E3BD-F491-4A83-B5D7-4B7CD065F606.jpeg
Preshave: menthol Cube // Razor: GEM G-Bar // Blade: GEM // Soap: Mike’s Natural Soaps Barber Shop // Brush: Jayaruh #421 Synthetic // Aftershave: Fine American Blend

Good shave. Haven’t used the GEM for a loooong time, so finding the correct angle took a few strokes. After dialing in the correct angle the shave went well. The soap smells outstanding and the lather the soap produces is absolutely top notch.

Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

Been awhile since I've been regularly shaving because of a torn bicep, Decided to take out this recently restored 41 Aristocrat for a spin. This razor I think is the second best of the American made Aristocrat razors, the 1st being the 46 - 48 Aristocrat. End result BBS finish.

    Razor Stand by RV Shaving
    Shave Brush - Omega Hi-Brush 20mm Synthetic (Model# 46745 – 0146745)
Brush Stand by Desire Metal Works
Preshave Soap - PAA Cube with Dock
Shave Soap - Country Club for Men *Woodly Spice scent (Custom created scent)
Aftershave - Country Club for Men *Woodly Spice scent (Custom created scent)
Post-Shave Balm - Advanced Clinicals Anti-aging Hyaluronic Acid Cream
Deodorant - HeartJCreations *Spiced Woods (Custom created scent by Country Club for Men)
Fragrance - Creed Spice & Wood

I went with the PAA preshave cube instead of oil this time around. I think they are both excellent pre-shave methods. Sometimes I prefer one over the other just to switch things up. I wanted to go light on the usage of the discontinued Country Club for Men soap because it's literally irreplaceable and the pre-shave soap allows me to go with a very light soap load and I can build a great lather with the pre-shave soap and still get the smell from the soap. It works well to help preserve a rare soap.

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Brown Synthetic. (Faux Horse)
    Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather : The Body Shop Maca Root Shave Cream.
Blade: Chinese Gillette Super Blue. (D4)
    Razor: Pearl SBF-11 TTO.

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.+3 menthol crystals mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./David Beckham Instinct ASL./Nivea men Sensitive PSB.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

Last outing of the Chinese Gillette Super Blue blade which paired together with the Pearl razor wonderfully throughout the week with no issues. I look forward to adding the Chinese Gillette Super Blue to my blade rotation in future shaves.
It's been a while since i last used the always reliable body shop Maca root shaving cream the one i used this morning which I've had for a few years but it's still perfectly ok to use it's slightly dis-coloured but hasn't have any adverse affect on the lather or made my face look like a baboon's arse when applying the lather to my face....It's fragrance doesn't get top marks, but it's slickness and performance & post shave feel are amazing good....As always opinions are very subjective YMMV.

A Enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea men Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.
