AoS Lavender~~Simpson CH2~~1958 D3 Adjustable/Wizamet Iridium® Super
After a week of lack-luster lather, I chose a cream, which never fails.
I suspect, however, that this product, which I just purchased off of Ebay for $19.00,
is pretty old stock. The consistency of the cream is 50% firmer than my other AoS creams
and indeed, any AoS cream I have ever used.
The lavender scent also seems a bit "off". This tub is headed to the garbage.
That's the biggest gamble you take, when you have a shave den full of creams.
They simply don't do well in a large rotation.
Needed a more refreshing lavender, so I chose:










This bottle is deceivingly large. 200ml. Here it is next to my Proraso ASB for a size comparison.

Happy Friday gentlemen. Another fine TI shave this morning following the X3Bar workout in the patio. A nice warm shower prior to the shave softened up the one day’s growth. The badger brush whipped up a very nice lather with relative ease.

I did my customary three passes followed by the the alum, Thayers, Nivea Cool balm and the splash. Regarding the Nivea, even though it is called Cool Balm, I do not find anything cool about it. It will not be a repurchase.

Following taking my oldest daughter out to lunch for her birthday, I completed my chores aincluding mowing the lawn. I now have time to rest by the pool.
