Late post due to an enjoyable family day at Splish Splash, LI’s water park. Anthony had a wonderful time with his cousins.

I am keeping with the by rum theme on the days that I do not work on the 1508.5 Project. Today’s selection is preparation shave for the upcoming Fall season. I do enjoy using this scent throughout the year.

Jck Skully whipped up a nice lather for the three pass shave with the AC type Shavette. The razor delivered a close and comfortable shave. I did develop weeper but the left side burn after the first pass. Miraculously s it paper, it disappeared in the same fashion before I was finished with the second pass.

I will be shaving predominately with a straight razor, including the Tedalus Essence, for the remaining time prior to my surgery. Of course there will be Micromatic Monday. Post surgery I would imagine initially I will rely on my DEs, GEMS and injectors until I have same movement in the right shoulder. Regardless, I will receive excellent shaves.

    Have a great day gentlemen.
  7. cool shave and pic Joe,neat brush..
  8. Thank you Joe. Glad I finished all of the wood splitting chores. Yesterday I finished painting the walls of the bathroom. I have to finish the molding. The worst part.
Yesterday was not overly hot but I worked up a hell of a sweat. I am either going to have to attack the molding early in the morning or wait until early next week.
  9. Wonderful shave Joe.
  10. Wonderful shave Jeff. Beautiful scales on the W & B.

No worries. I have an ample supply.
  14. Very nice shave Danny. Don’t you just love it when you have to become n engineer to fix a flaw in the design of a newly acquired tool.

Glad you are feeling a little better this morning.
  15. Superb shave Joe.
  16. Another great shave Gary
  17. Great shave Joe. I figured with your limited mobility after your surgery that you would rely on your safety razors. Hopefully, you will be back to straight shaving as soon as you are able. I keep thinking of Bobby Darin when I think of Splish Splash. Glad you guys had fun at the waterpark.
  18. Thanks mon ami!
  19. Great shavette shave, Joe! I think you’ll find the Tedalus when loaded with a Feather Super shaves as well as any of your straights.
  20. Thanks, Joe!
