Hot damn thats awesome. I have to pull information from Dan at razor refresh who gives 0 updates. 2-3 weeks for me has turned into 3 months. I have to ask him for updates and finally had to ask him for specifics because each update i asked for he merely stated he was working on them or that he was having trouble with one or hes almost done. This is what i get for being a cheap ass.

Ouch. I've only used Reliable Electro in Massachusetts and Razor Emporium. Never got any updates from Reliable but my razors were always done and back in my hand within 30 days. This is my first time using Razor Emporium and I am digging their work order flow automatic updates system. You have to manually set it up the first time but once you do, it appears it works great.

I've had good success with back roads gold too. I've had things back a week after shipping literally before.

Congrats. It's a very light razor, but well made & a good shaver. I'm sure you'll be pleased with it.

Thanks, I've wanted one of the metal ones for quite some time. There's one on eBay but the guy(Yahoo) wants you to do a bank transfer instead of paying through the normal route which I'm not willing to risk. Tried to work something out but he's a disgruntled seller with ebay's new money transfer system I hate it too but if he doesn't like it don't sell it there. I got these 9 for half his buy it now.

Nice.. Glad you got one you wanted. I had problems with eBay too. I couldn't use the pay later feature (paypal credit) feature because its greyed out and spent an hour on the phone getting bounced from dept to dept and so I waited and called back yesterday and got it fixed in about 3 min. I missed things I wanted to buy for almost a week because of the way ebay wants to change things up !! Ebay had a system that worked and then they went and broke and messed it up !

Yup, i have the metal one… which fyi are prone to cracks. My brush has a good original nylon knot but had a crack so i glued the cap and base together. The nylon knot is prickly but does the job. The cap and base screw apart so when u revamp it be careful. Ive been after a clear lucite one and a gibbs shave stick plastic holder.

They notified everyone months before to get set up. I don't like it. Takes a few days more to get paid but works.

Where does it unscrew/separate from? Just below the raised Gibbs?

If memory serves me correctly ( and it usually doesnt ) the handle is the female end and the head is the male end.
