  2. Great shave, post and lineup Barry! Hopefully, your technique will be such that you will headshave with a Mueller R41 that is loaded with a Feather blade. Have a super afternoon.

Good morning gentlemen. Today features the second shave with the Essence using the same blade. As with yesterday’s shave this razor is easy to hold and maneuver as it is well balanced.

I did my usual three passes which presented a wonderfully close shave. I would attest that today’s shave was slightly better as I was less tentative but equally respectful of the razor.

The triple milled soap produced a nice lather with the assistance of the boar brush. While I enjoy the scent of this soap, I would say the glissade factor is berate when compared with some of the other siap in the den.

Hope you have a great day gentlemen.

  8. Thanks Joe. Not rocket science, I just had to get a small enough snip to get where I needed.

  11. Awesome shaves, Jeff! I remember how you were not impressed with the Rigarazor. I was kind of shocked because it's rep was very good. Glad to see that the razor got a great edge and that you can now enjoy it. Have a great day by taking the TR6 for a ride!
  12. Great Tedalus shave, Joe! It’s truly an amazing razor with a Feather Super. :)
  13. Thanks, Joe, but we have rain in the forecast this afternoon! My honing skills have definitely improved, but this new 9 Ballslate is amazing! This morning is devoted to fun with landscaping with my bride! :)
  14. I am calling you the double-negative policeman in my original post, Paul! I was pointing out the irony about how you tell Maestro that he was using double-negatives at sometimes, but you chose (typo) a Aventus (wrong) instead of an Aventus (right). It was a tongue-in-cheek comment, but somehow you did not get the nuances of my comment so I had to be explicit in this one.

  15. Awesome shave Joe! It's going to be a nice day so let's enjoy it!
  16. Did not have my morning coffee, Dave! My 66 yr old brain sometimes needs another reboot! I will fix the comment. Lol!
  17. For today's shave, a minute to load the Stoylin brush with the Stoylin soap. There is something to say about how Doc Ezlovan prepares his glacial soaps-they're still cold after wetting the brush with warm water and swirling(course the swirling persuasion happens when the soap is loaded up and ready to go). 2 passes. No cuts or Knicks. All went well on the cheeks, sideburn spots, and Porcupine Alley, but I missed a couple areas down at Cactus Nation, near the ingrown hairs. I'll get'em tomorrow. I also might switch the water temperature to cold as I moisten the brush before swirling. Royal Copenhagen A.S.(cool, but not like Aqua Velva) and the Passion 4 Men male parfum to finish. Super Duper Excellent.

  18. Glad you were, Joe. I didn't notice that I blew the "a/an" thing right before "Aventus" But yes indeed, I am the double-negative policeman :).

  19. Nice session, Paul! Enjoy your day!
  20. It is ok. I had to correct my typo of nuancesome to nuances. Dagnabit spell check.
