  3. Tuesday morning:

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/7 AM day 2
    RVT Frosty Bay Rum SS
    Prep ASB
    Krampert’s Bay Rum AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel Parfum

Now I don’t know what to do because it was my second use of this 7 AM blade and already it started to tug so I’ll try it tomorrow and see how it goes. Mo’s Frosty Bay Rum is such a lovely soap - the scent is beautiful, the lather is such a pleasure to work up, the menthol sensation is nice although not that strong, and the postshave feeling is good. The Prep did a masterful job of moisturizing, cooling, and soothing my skin, while the Krampert’s Bay Rum aftershave finished everything off wonderfully. Today’s shave was BBS but it was a bit of a struggle.

Have a good day - be well and safe!

    Tabac Tuesday's Shave
    zcws.jpg

    Cold Water Rinse
    Tabac Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #424 Synthetic
    TARMAX by Tom
    Astra SP
    CWR
    Tabac AS

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #424 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TARMAX Razor by Tom with an Astra SP Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  9. A brushless shave today, charcoal soap and homemade oil only. Krona/BIC for the beard was splendid mild shave as expected. For my head rather than using two full stacked blades in the Shake Sharp I used a half blade on top. More noise for sure and I don't know whether the top blade was doing any cutting -- it set quite far back from the bottom-- but it was still a little effort take no stubble prisoners shave. [IMG]

Most definitely more efficient than the OC and the bar plate for obvious reasons.
I have to say though that now the shave even being completely nick free and the at no point did I feel the need to use more caution, the shave has blade feel and is aggressive.
I wouldn’t say as agressive as the Stirling Stainless by any means but I Think it does surpass the OC on my Blackbird, the jury is still out.
This deserves more shaves with more blades to get a true assessment in my opinion.
But a really great shave with only mild irritation in some sensitive areas.
