Saturday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Palmolive Shave Cream Jayaruh #424 Synthetic TARMAX by Tom Astra SP CWR Lustray Spice After Shave The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #424 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TARMAX Razor by Tom set on 8 with an Astra SP Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. DE SOTD, Sat, Aug21st 2021 Razor: Gillette slim adjustable, Mfg 1962 H2, great adjustable, sold millions around the world, nice range. Some blade overhang. Blade: Derby Premium (3), Sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. Derby better blade of many variants. Soap: Ach Brito Lavanda, nice mild lavender scent with great lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi 24mm Timberwolf whiskers, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + excellent lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Arch Brito Lavanda(Lavender & woody scent) with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea with HA. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Gillette slim with a Derby Premium blade. Have some great shaves!

Sunday Schick shave, Aug 22nd 2021 Razor: Schick adjustable Model2,Mfg 1979-72, great adjustable injector, good range, well built IMO. Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector(10), very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable. Soap: Speick , very nice spicy scented with lavender, triple milled, great lather qualities. Very popular sometimes on B&B. Brush: Yaqi 24mm boar brush, excellent lather generator, soft tips, nice scrubber, great lather painter. Very happy with it! Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Razorock King Louis lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with HA. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper=excellent shave with my Schick adjustable injector with a Personna coated blade. Have some great shaves!

thank you Paul..the one thing gillettes offer is that their shaves are all quite similar.i start with cap edge on face and angle downwards..there are some models like the old type that require more respect than others but ..
