Yama Dai orihi kamisori and possibly tamahagane, a razor that’s not original to the set, circumstances unknown as the set dates to the 1940s. The steel in all three razors is extremely hard, like hard Swedish steel. Soap was MdC agrumes and a splash of Myrsol Limon topped off a good summer morning’s shave.

Beaujeu Aine Brush: Polar Metalworks Suds: B&M Cheshire Not exactly sure what I have here. I know it’s French, and Beaujeu looks to be about 140km from Thiers. I saw one post stating Beaujeu Aine was a well known cutler in Thiers, but I didn’t find anything beyond that (in what I could read ). Just not feeling these scales are original to the razor, as they don’t fit/feel right, and there was definitely some blade work, in that the spine is wonky. But with all that said, it was a very enjoyable shave as the pink Coticule delivered again. Enjoy your shave. Tom
C. V. Heljestrand M.K. 133, soap was Martin de Candre original and a splash of Myrsol Agua Balsamica complimented the aired-out MdC scent nicely.
