    The blade alignment is something they need to get better at. What I find is I hold the sides with my thumb and forefinger while slowly tightening. Not perfect but it’s close enough. I will likely PIF that one at some point.

    Gary I found that using that using the Merkur for two days made me appreciate the Gillette even more! Shaving my throat on setting one is a real pleasure!

    I'm loving this Filarmonica 14, restoration razor, mailed from Morocco. It was a complete dog, but now it is a favorite. Each shave just gets better and better. I had a perfect 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. zero issues, just an Uber-Sharp, and smooth shave.

    Razor- Filarmonica 14 "Doble Temple". Spain.
    Brush- @jtspartan special . Boar knot.
    Soap- TABAC
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

    Gillette new improved, Bic Chrome Platinum, shave 6

    This particular razor is the later 126A head produced between 1928 - 1930. Aggressive razor but very managable with a light touch. BBS finish achieved but it could have easily been the Boston Razor Facial Massacre if used incorrectly. Great razor but definitely not one for a beginner to practice on.
