  3. It's like the smell of a freshly opened pack of cigarettes... not burning tobacco. The more nuanced scents will be closer to sniffing a pipe tobacco pouch. As for smoke scent, it would be closer to a pipe than cigarette or cigar smell.

Edit: usually tobacco absolute is used to scent tobacco scented/flavored products. It's basically concentrated tobacco leaf extract. Each perfume house has it's own version, or they buy them from the perfumer's apprentice or similar retailer.

As mentioned before in this thread, tobacco flower extract is also used in fragrances, and smells nothing like the leaf extracts, which is how you wind up with a flowery fragrance, when you expected something a bit darker.

    Yep.

  5. I always thought Bay Rum was quite a manly scent.
  6. On the subject of tobacco flower scents; I am very disappointed with my Alt Innsbruck purchase. I was expecting a similar scent profile as Tabac. They are not similar to my snoot. I used the Alt Innsbruck once and will not use it again. $55.00 wasted.
  7. As manly as it gets....

I don't even care what it smells like!

  9. But Tabac is not a tobacco flowers scent at all!

I think you won’t find any tobacco aftershave or cologne that smells like Tabac.

  10. Hmm. True. I guess the bergamot, neroli, and lavender overpower any tobacco leaf scent, for me, at least.

Edit: Dunhill for Men is similar, if much stronger.
  11. I am not good at scent descriptions for sure. Aftershaves are my last remaining acquisition disorders.

  12. PM me Jeffro and let me know what you want for it. I've been wanting Alt Innsbruck for forever and will take it off your hands.

  18. I got the Alt Innsbruck from Jeff (@stingraysrock) last week but was on the road. I finally got a chance to use it and I really like it. It isn't so much a "manly" scent though; I'd say it is very unisex. I was kinda hoping it would smell like unrolled shredded tobacco. Still, even though it is 100% unfamiliar to anything I've smelled before, I do like it and will rock every drop of it.

    10/10 would recommend.
  19. Avon Wild Country and Denim original -- smells like the harsh opening notes of English Leather and never softens up.
Master s Challenge-- nothing metrosexual here.orange and cedar wood are among notes I get and it lasts all day.
    Just a couple of suggestions.
