The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #426 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Twinjector with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Fernando is a true soap genius - his Frosted Bay Rum soap has such a beautiful scent, the tallow formula gives awesome lather which is so thick, rich, and slick, the menthol sensation is heavenly, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The Prep and the Krampert’s Bay Rum aftershave completed the job superbly. What a great shave this was!

Shaved off a 4 1/2 month beard last week and am now firmly back in the daily shave saddle.

This morning's shave was effortless resulting in a DFS indeed. Classic all the way around.

Soap: RazoRock Classic
Brush: Omega S10019 synthetic

DE SOTD, Wed, Sept 1st 2021

Razor: Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72, Mfg 2021> excellent mid range design, good for under the nose, excellent blade clamping, my favorite DE razor and seems to give me a carefree shave. Top of line Razorock line of razors IMO.
Blade: Gillette Astra SS (1) sharp & smooth, good results with comfort.
Soap: Razorock What the puck Lime, nice strength of citrus limy scent with excellent lather qualities. Nice change up today.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm 2band badger mountain lake, very nice brush, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice scrubber + a great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash the whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned bear area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso Green aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with HA.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Astra SS blade.

But, no Pinaud, no Clubman, right? I suppose I shouldn't get so grumpy about why it says 1810(his birth)not 1830(when he got Clubman up and going).

Showered with a nice, lavender-scented soap made by a friend, as part of a wedding favor. I used the Ming Shih DE, with a Feather blade & Sara's Creations shave soap to do my underarms. Will do the legs with the Shavette tomorrow, in all likelihood.

Dang! That's a sweet looking razor. Who makes it & what type of blade does it use?

 

It is a beauty. Blackland Sabre that uses GEM blades. I'm using the L1 plate now and I'll be switching to the L2 plate in a couple of days.
