01 September 2021 Shaved off a 4 1/2 month beard last week and am now firmly back in the daily shave saddle. This morning's shave was effortless resulting in a DFS indeed. Classic all the way around. DE SOTD, Wed, Sept 1st 2021 Razor: Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72, Mfg 2021> excellent mid range design, good for under the nose, excellent blade clamping, my favorite DE razor and seems to give me a carefree shave. Top of line Razorock line of razors IMO. Blade: Gillette Astra SS (1) sharp & smooth, good results with comfort. Soap: Razorock What the puck Lime, nice strength of citrus limy scent with excellent lather qualities. Nice change up today. Brush: Yaqi 24mm 2band badger mountain lake, very nice brush, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice scrubber + a great lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash the whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned bear area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Proraso Green aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with HA. Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Astra SS blade. I suppose I shouldn't get so grumpy about why it says 1810(his birth)not 1830(when he got Clubman up and going).

Showered with a nice, lavender-scented soap made by a friend, as part of a wedding favor. I used the Ming Shih DE, with a Feather blade & Sara's Creations shave soap to do my underarms. Will do the legs with the Shavette tomorrow, in all likelihood.
