I believe I have but it was a while back. I was thinking about using one in the morning. The Supers are about 8 thousands wider which gives you more blade exposure. It should wake the Hawk up.
Sept 2 SOTA Good afternoon guys! Straight Shave #299 13/8 ArtRazor 1000 (8) MrEE #10 LE Cashmere Knot Brush Tabac Stick Stirling Blood on Steel 2019 LE AS Maggard's Alum Block Dickinson's WH Whiskers: 30 hrs I haven't used Tabac since my nephew's wedding on June 6 so it was time to bring it out. Guys, this stuff really lathers great and is quite easy to do so. I am glad that I like this scent. I just wet the face with my brush and then rub the stick on my wet face. Finally, just scrub, paint the brush or do both to lather. I just think it is so cool and easy to do this part of the shave. Evan's brush is nice and soft and lends itself to make great lathers. I did get a nice, wet, slick and creamy lather. Did 2 passes with Artie to get a BBS minus shave. I didn't feel like doing the extra half pass to get a BBs or near BBS. My face looks clean shaven and that is fine by me. I will see Joe tomorrow morning and I will still look great because it will be 15 hrs after the shave. I got very little feedback from the alum so it was a close, comfortable shave. Applied the witch hazel and followed with the Stirling BoS (Tsuka) aftershave. The scent is great! Wow! It is another shave in the books! Tomorrow will be a no shave day because I want to have close to a 40 hr stubble for my 300th traditional straight shave and the 600th straight/open blade shave.
