Jorvaljr, Is that the set with the telescoping handle for the tech razor ? I understand it is a rare one if it is, never seen one before.

 

Sunday Schick shave, Sept 5th 2021

Razor: Stick Schick injector L theme series, nice milder injector, I like the theme, kind of reminds me growing up in my youth.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE blade, very sharp, excellent blade, good longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable.
Soap: Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore, nice Vanilla & light Tobacco scents.
Brush: Yaqi red Zebra 26mm synthetic , excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrub, great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine Fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop Nivea balm with HA.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS, no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my Stick Schick with a Personna coated injector blade.

The blade was sharper on the second shave than the first. With that said it did make it to the BBS finish line but barely with no noticeable difference between the 2 shaves thus far with these blades.

Nice shave with the 500. I had previously been using a Gillette Trac II in this razor and just not liking it. This Schick SC is working much better.

How many shaves are you expecting to get out of the blade? Since I shave my head and face I find that two is my max for any blade.

The handle doesnt telescope out. Its a 2 piece, but the handle does go into itself into a small little package

Not using the rare bath soap or the super rare deodorant. Just going with an afternoon shower and shave. I will use the talc powder as my underarm deodorant. My face recovered enough to risk a shave. Slept in again today after not being able to sleep last night. Just too much mental energy and couldn't get tired until 2am. The holiday weekend has been a great rest and relief of mental stress overall. Able to enjoy things other than work for a short bit. Ok. Off to the shower and shave.

***EDIT - 1-pass + cleanup. 1 minor weeper. Aftershave splash stung and let me know I'm alive. Good ole vintage Shulton. Smells great.

This is for Bic Chrome Platinum blades which are my usual go to, other blades may vary being less shaves but never more than this unless for the same reasons.
I do 6 shaves for almost all razors that is 3 shaves per blade side and 5 passes per shave doing only my face. Some razors I can push an extra shave or 2 on each blade side for a total of 8 to 10 shaves when the razor is sufficiently efficient that it doesn't burn out the blade edge as quickly.
