So I got my British Aristocrat back from Back Roads Gold. Just had a tune up performed, as the plating was in pretty good shape. Chris does a great job. Anyone have an idea what would be the correct blade case that came with this model?

Looks like your case is for the Aristocrat known as a "Coronation Set"..................

Except mine does not have the crown logo on top left. Of course the “Gillette” is barely visible. Maybe the crown wore off?

I'm going on that assumption because the color of the lining is green.

It´s a #66 after 1954. Now you need the little Sleeve with the british Blue Gillette Blades Dispenser:

And good luck finding that blade dispenser sleeve/cover! Amazing how they always seemed to get "lost".

Good to see you Achim! Hope you are well! :eatdrink047:

That’s the first time I’ve seen the sleeve. Didn’t even know they existed.

Yeah, usually the only time you find them is if the set is NOS. Very rare to come across one alone in the wild.

Which is different than the earlier razors. Many of those have the blade banks with them, and many are offered for sale on the bay and Etsy. Perhaps one the quick dispenser was invented, the slipcover was viewed as more of a nuisance than the blade banks of the earlier models, which provided the necessity of keeping loose blades safely stored.
