I was wandering around for some essential oils from Faboulous Frankie and came across a line of shaving soap they sell, Rugged Riley. Anyone have experience with this brand?
No experience myself, but... Either they left some things off of the ingredient list, or this stuff isn't a soap at all. More like a "shave butter" concoction. The directions don't sound like it lathers. https://www.fabulousfrannie.com/rugged-riley/shave-soap-4oz-tin-rustic-woods.html
Yeah. When I relooked at the link it does sound like a soap that doesn’t lather but always check to see if someone has experience.
I just got to use the Spice Fire version. Doesn’t lather well in the tub due to the odd shape of the soap. Just kind of used it like a shaving stick. It lathers! Nothing fancy but it lathers. It’s slick. Only used it once and I’ll have to work on water ratio but it does the job.
Interesting. Maybe just inadvertantly left the lye off of the ingredients list, and it really is soap.
Thinking that myself. Not going to complain. Gets the job done. Scent profile doesn’t stick around too long but for 7 bucks for 4oz, it’s a good deal.
