Is it a fresh flowery or dried tobacco smell....ala cigar fragrance?

Not sure, Dale. I know the standard Feather Pros are considered milder than the Feather Supers. I did filet myself with one in a CJB a few years ago…still a sharp blade. As I said in the original post, I don’t have Prolines in AC size, only Injector size.
That being said, I definitely find the V3 stainless OC a rougher and more efficient Hawk than the lighter Aluminum V2 that I owned a few years ago. I see where you are coming from, but I’m sure you’ll get it dialed in soon.

it has a slight floral note to it but definitely not cigar type tobacco.it's cologney like most tobs etc.think of the sandalwood:)

I've had some absolutely fantastic shaves over the last month or so. I decided to use creams exclusively for the past 30 days or so, in an attempt to actually finish off a tube or two.

With spring on its way, I've switched back to my summer routine of using aftershave splashes instead of balms.

    Shaves1-10:
    Razor: Gillette slim adjustable
Blade: super max blue diamond (1-10)
    Brush :Yaqi Sagrada familia
    Shaving Cream: Godrej lime
    Aftershave: Brut by Fabergé

    Shaves11-12:
    Razor: Gillette slim adjustable
Blade: super max blue diamond (11-12)
    Brush :Yaqi Sagrada familia
    Shaving Cream: Arko cool
    Aftershave: Brut by Fabergé

    Shaves13-15:
    Razor: Gillette slim adjustable
Blade: super max blue diamond (13-15)
    Brush :Yaqi Sagrada familia
Shaving Cream: The body shop maca root
    Aftershave: old spice wolfthorn[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Good morning one and all!

    Shavette Shave #302
    Dovo Shavette
    Personna Hairshaper Blade (10)
    MrEE #10 LE Cashmere Brush
    Fine Accoutrements Italian Citrus SS
P/C Lilac Vegetal (The Veg) AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's WH
    Whiskers; 33 hrs

    20210909_085625.jpg

I rarely have used Fine soaps because the scent strength is like a 1 on a scale of 10. However, it does make an easy lather that is very slick and creamy.
The brush is long enough to use in my shave mug so that it is quite easy to make a lather in it. Two passes with minor pickups gave me a near BBS result wihout any mishaps. There was very little zinging from the alum signifying a close, smooth and comfortable shave. Hit the face and neck with the witch hazel and followed with a nice portion of the Veg.
    Have a good day!
