    Another great Hawk shave but this one demands respect.

    Razorock Hawk V3 open comb.
    Homelike Shave Voevoda stainless steel handle.
    Feather Professional Super blade
    Razorock 400 synthetic brush
    Razorock Gold Label shave soap.
    Royal Copenhagen cologne

    Loving the Hawk shaves but I got a couple of slight weepers this morning. You really have to be on your game with this combo.

    I keep trying to like AC format razors. Still don't much. Enoch more comfortable than the OC Hawk where the comb makes itself known too much. Finished cleanups with the petite Mark Cross which is a much more sensible razor.[​IMG]

    Yes. And the unnecessary bulk. Seems like Blackland is the only one to get it right (the Enoch is better than the Hawk in this regard).

    Fabulous shave this morning. Today’s choice, DG Darkfall, is a wonderful Fall scent. I have this soap in the Icarius base, it will be released for Fall on September 12th in the newer Milkbase formula. The scent description is as follows:
    Darkfall is a spicy oriental designed to capture the spirit of fall in the rural south. Agarwood, amber, and benzoin provide a deep, warm base for the cinnamon and clove top notes. Birch tar adds a slight smokiness that represents the ever-present smell of burning leaves that heralds the arrival of fall in Georgia.

    I proceeded to lather a demitasse spoon sized soap pressed into my Fine lathering bowl. The Semogue Torga C5 Synthetic whipped up a nice thick lather. Three passes without incident via the W&B straight have left my face smooth and velveteen. A couple of spritzes with the Darkfall EdT to knock this shave out of the park.

    I am adjusting to time alone in the house. I have been keeping myself busy with things around the house that I need to get done before my shoulder surgery next week.

    Regarding the students, some I will miss, the others (aka: Knuckleheads) :happy102: not so much.​
