BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: MrEE LE #005 with SynBad Knot
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm and Ultimo Cologne, a favorite of bride #1.

 

I’ve seen that rattler of yours Jeff, it’s a looker!

C.V.H No 140 for the Saturday morning shave, soap and balm were ABC, and the brush a small Rooney beehive.

I have some of the new ABC hard soap on the way, and it will have to be very good indeed to meet or exceed the last version.

Checking out the new ‘chocolate kiita’ and the refreshed edge on Sub Cero was outstanding, silent HHT at almost 1”. The shave was buttery smooth. A M&F Finest, MdC rose and Myrsol Plastic Shave were the supporting cast.

 

Sunday evening shave, Böker with Ebony Scales. Really nice shave.

Newly acquired and honed. What can I say, but it was a fabulous shave. I had a buttery smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Big, noisy, and a very stiff blade. This is a "Great Razor".

Razor- Gipson "Alvaro". 8/8th blade. By: Andrey Shpakovskiy. Made in the Ukraine.
Brush- J.R.#262, by @Jayaruh . Ebony/Birdseye Maple wood. Silvertip Badger knot.
Soap- AOS Kingsman. "Bourbon" scented. Great smell, and great lather.
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Mmmm Mmmmm Good.
