Ya know some people pay a lot of money to get that close to nature and you got it for free.

But seriously glad everyone is safe and sound ..... thing can be fixed or replace, not so with people.

I don’t know if it is a manly thing ;) but I had a relaxing and fun motorcycle ride today. No rain, sunny at times, and not too hot. Great weather for a ride!

I made a new copper signature guide for my oldest son to replace the first one I made him eleven years ago. I may personalize this one, so it may have a better chance getting back to him, if left behind.

It's not perfect, but it'll do the job. Not bad for a one armed man.

Not today, two days ago I changed out the timer in my dryer. I’ve done this before on the previous dryer but this time the task required special drill bits which took a bit more time. My wife is happy again with a working dryer.

Would love to hear you play that. How long does it take to learn to play/blow a shofar?

I suppose it depends on what musical skill you had to begin with. It’s a bit like playing a brass instrument, in so far as you use your lips to get it to produce sound. I was lucky enough to have some help. @Bird Lives is a professional trumpet player who kindly worked with me, via Skype, to teach me the basics. After a few lessons & a lot of practice, I can get sound out of it.

Of course, I am not trying to play elaborate melodies; just a few notes. I imagine that it would take much more time to get real music out of it.

I went to church with the family, and took along a friend of my daughters. Then, I honed three Straight Razors, two that I had restored myself, and shaved with one of them. Then, went on a 14 mile bike ride with the wife, partially through a nature park.

Trimmed the hedges around the house and the church. 79°F. Glad it wasn't any hotter. I'll take 60 +/- 5 all year.

I am so looking forward to cooler temps! Tomorrow and Thursday here in Mississippi says a high of only 74° and I'm absolutely excited about it!

74 is a ordinary temperature in the middle of the summer here in south Sweden where I live. The average annually temperature is 44F.. last winter was the lowest temperature -4F. I enjoy temperatures between 59 and 68F

That's perfect weather to me! During our summers, it's usually 95°F + and 90% humidity + which makes for miserable outtings. Step outside the air conditioning and it takes your breath away and smothers you. lol

I always run the air conditioner trough out the summer, put it on 75F, takes the moisture out and make a nice temperature. We have 2 air to air heat pumps in the house, nice winter time and also nice summer time
