Sunday Schick shave, OCtober 17th 2021 Razor: Schick J1 type injector, Mfg 1957-64, nice mild injector, longer easy to grip handle, good results. Blade: Personna SS PTFE (5) very sharp, good longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable. Soap: Ach Brito Lavanda cream, nice mild scent, excellent lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi Dandelion 24mm Cashmere, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scrub + excellent lather painter. Preshave: (Cashmere 24mm)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Ach Brito Lavanda AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer lotion Balm + scentless. Results: CCS,DSF,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Schick J1 with a Personna coated blade. Have some great shaves!
Doing my best to stay neutral but what I'm finding is that as I'm watching I end up rooting for a team. Last night it was hard to root against the Red Sox. That offense is scary good. In the ninth I found myself cheering for Houston because I was hoping they would stage an incredible comeback. Over in the National League I have to go with the Dodgers. My wife and I went to LA for our 26th anniversary in 2018. We went to Dodger Stadium to see a game and it was incredible. Paul D

Just got back from camping with 7 first graders, and seven new dads, 5 of which had never slept in tent, so just a photo. Tonight was all about the Tabac. Well Whipped with a Chubby 2, and scraped off with the Gillette Heritage Razor. Whatever blade was in there already. Pretty robotic shave, I'm tired. But I did get something in the mail, and I challenge any of you Tabac-onists to match me for this one ounce for ounce, full shower to the shave all Tabac. Tabac shower gel, Tabac Soap, Tabac Balm, Splash of Tabac AS, finish off with a big body splash of Tabac Cologne. Like random, but in Berlin instead of Tokyo, and yes, I tossed off my shirt a la Bronson!
