From my years working at Polo Ralph Lauren, I can instantly recognize when someone is wearing Polo green. I think it's one of the most distinctive scents in perfumery. It's not for me, unfortunately. My tastes run more towards RL Safari. Word of warning: vintage men's RL fragrances are powerhouses, with incredible projection and sillage. The modern versions are neutered (had oakmoss removed or reduced), and project far less and last a fraction of the time. *for the non fragrance freaks, 'Sillage' is the French word for the perfume trail left in the air when someone leaves the room.
