Day 17 of 3D Printed Razor Month

The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with the Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TiBr 3D Razor with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Awesome is the right word to describe this Citrus Melody soap - the scent is beautiful - lemon, lime, grapefruit, and tangerine come together to refresh and invigorate you, the tallow formula promotes such thick, rich, mega slick lather, there’s a ton of menthol goodness, and the skincare is wonderful. The Prep always delivers on the additional moisturizing and soothing while the Citrus Melody aftershave never burns or stings because it’s witch hazel based, it has the same gorgeous scent as the soap, and the menthol sensation is lethal. (in a great way!) Another brilliant BBS shave!

I went back to my very first DE for today’s shave; a Weishi DE I bought back in 2014. I don’t think I used it since 2015. What a nice shave!

 

DE SOTD, Nov 17th 2021

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72- Mfg 2021> excellent mid range designed razor, great machining accuracy and just a joy to use for great results repetitively from my Experiences.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP(4) excellent blade, Sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap: Speick, mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. Very enjoyable to lather with.(misted)
Brush: Yaqi 24mm 2 band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, great scrubber +great lathe painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer lotion(balm) + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Gillette 7oClock SP.

I picked up this Wapi razor from Ken Rupp off a forum back in 2008. It is a post war Polish surgical razor that is somewhere between a wedge and a quarter hollow. The blade is 5/8ths carbon steel so with it’s grind puts on a super sharp edge that lasts. The scales are stainless steel and are not completely the ideal weight for balancing this as a straight shaver but I’ve never really had issue as some have reported.
A really terrific shaver.
The Rich Man Shaving brush created a lather that just wouldn’t quit.
The post shave with PAA ranks right up at the very top with the soaps I have used.
