If Jody misses it that much,I must NEED it too......... Actually I have a Bubblegum scented soap already. I would like to have a Shave Den Soap in the den though. Anything Bourbon, woodsy, peppery.......
More power to you guys. I do like the smell of bubblegum, and bacon, to be sure, but they just aren't scents I want slathered all over my face. But that's me.
lol, I have all my old remnants of my TSD soaps melted down and consolidated into one tub and it is fading, but smells ok considering the thoughtless mixing. I could use a proper TSD soap again. Iced lime coconut or that cedar wood recommendation sounded good. And M-bomb.
For sure, bubble gum scent is not for everyone. But when I asked her to create such a thing, I wanted something fun and lively - and of course being that the foundation of it is her wheat germ shaving cream, it performed fantastically. On a day when I am just in a really good mood, really happy and just want to feel and be silly, I would break out the TSD Stubble Bubble bubble gum scented shaving cream and would just have fun shaving!
I was posting tongue in cheek. I already have a Bubblegum scented soap which is called Monkey Farts if you can believe it........
TSD had monkey farts too. The scented oil manufacturer changed the scent profile though. The last batch was less banana, more cocoa. I would totally buy a case of the monkey farts I could buy here ten years ago!
I think I recall JoAnna had a Monkey Farts? And I thought Monkey Farts was more banana scent than bubblegum scent??
Unlike you apparently Jody, I've never smelled a true Monkey Fart. I'll take your word for it Here is the scent notes for the one I have from Fuzzy Face Soaps though. This unique fragrance begins with top notes of fresh bananas and juicy grapefruit, middle notes of kiwi, juicy bubblegum, and strawberries; and a hint of vanilla as a base note.
There is a little bit of TSD Monkey Farts in that consolidation puck I made. I'd had a few of them over the years. I always got cocoa out of them so I must've missed the mo-nana formulation. Regardless if and what you come up with JoAnna, I've enjoyed remembering the TSD products.
Hmmmm.... two (2) bottles of the strongest concentration of the Bourbon/Vanilla scent.(aftershave concentration is fine, though, if it cant be stronger ), one (1) bottle of Mojito or Lime type aftershave, and one (1) bottle of the strongest Old Spice type scent possible (rather have stronger but would certainly take aftershave concentration). We will happily prepay if anything might be available.
Rather than the alcohol burn of a traditional splash it's soothing like an aloe balm..... or something like that...
Current available products' prices are the same as they were 3 years ago. That is likely to change once I have to order more supplies. Ordering supplies for soaps now. Never heard of it. I'll have to look into.
I would also love to have some more TSD Yin Yang (Lavender & Lime) shave cream! Miss that toooooooooo! Here was my post about it way back in October 2010, when JoAnna made it for me: First, TSD Yin Yang. I've been after a lavender and lime scented shave soap for a while and JoAnna was gracious enough to tackle this interesting combination for me. She also blessed me with the gift of naming this new TSD soap. I chose the name Yin Yang because it's used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn. Lavender and lime are definitely polar opposites.. with lavender being a soothing and calming scent and lime being a scent that gives you pep and snap in your walk! But the two together certainly do give rise to each other. And I'd say JoAnna got just the right amount of each scent. Neither overpowers the other and do their individual tasks of complimenting each other. Bottom line: I love it. Thank you JoAnna! Hope you saved your recipe!
New guy here. Should I order if there is something I'd like or wait till soaps are added to ship once?
