I like to add a couple of drops of glycerin to most creams. Super slick, super quick.

 

Best Inexpensive: Williams + Real Shave Co.
Best Overall: Tabac + Tabac.

 

I just add a touch of AOS Unscented to any lather I want to explode in creaminess/volume

 

I finally found a way to use up my SCS Green Tea that was just sitting.
SCS Green Tea SS + TSD Mojito SC
Both are good, but not great IMHO on their own. Together they're on the level of TSD SS lather. Plus, the green tea scent matches VERY well with the mojito.

 

Tabac with Musgo Real!

 

I just tried adding about 5 drops of glycerin and one drop of patchouli oil to my Williams shave soap. GREAT lather and a hint of patchouli. Best shave to date.

 

Well I'm new to this but here's what I tried yesterday after reading this thread, I was also was anxious to try out new Vulvix 374 Super Badger.
Started normal procedure, presoaked brush, little water on top of Cella in the
Ferrari Red bowl. Started bowl lathering and a little voice said, "You have those TOBS samples in the cabinet, give one a try".
Sandalwood was the first one my fingers grabbed and I added the tiniest amount to the lathering bowl. WOW!, that fresh red IP in a Merkur HD just slid over that 48 hour stubble like an Olympic skater.:happy108

You cream guys having been keeping secrets have you not?. Soap might become I thing of the past very soon. Waiting on a tub of TSD Wheat Bay Rum (and a X4 SS) from the Queen of Blades to pursue more field trials.

 

Superlather

Speick cream and Tabac soap with 4 drops of glycerin.

 

CADE soap with D R Harris Arlington, also another goodie is Trumpers Coconut soap with D R Harris Arlington.

I love Speick soap stick + Speick cream

 

So far, my favorite is VDH soap and Speick cream. NICE!!
