Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap with Mint Extracts.
Brush: APS Shaving Co 24mm Cashmere Synthetic.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick.
Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome. (1)
Razor: Parker Variant.(Settings) 2.5-wtg,3.5-atg, + Pick ups.

Post:
Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water face & head Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./ Milton Lloyd The Man Cobalt EdT.

Christmas Day Greetings,

As on all Christmas day's since i was a kid, i have always been a early riser due to the festive excitement, now it's my ageing body clock.

The Parker variant is always a pleasure to shave with it's handle is super grippy which is excellent for head shaving without the fear of it slipping out of my hand whilst shaving....If i only had the choice to shave with any of my DE razors then the Variant would be a strong contender....Paired together with the Personna Platinum Chrome made a wonderful smooth assertive duo mowing through my face & head stubble with effortless ease....The dependable WS shave stick provided a slick protective lather in a short space of time leaving a excellent post shave feel.

An enjoyable Christmas day face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd The Man Cobalt EdT to the chest & pulse points.

My face & precious swede are both feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

Later, but soon i will be venturing out to the family gathering to prepare the Christmas dinner, my multi tasking-skills come in useful at certain times' and take part in the festive activities, then after that i will be catching up on some well earned rest.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1957 Gillette Rocket Razor with a Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Florida Water Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Brrrrrrrrrr cold and beautiful is the best way to describe this Glacial Electric Sheep soap - it’s the first mutton tallow based Glacial soap and it has the same lovely citronella/lemony/eucalyptus scent as the regular version, the lather is so rich, super slick, protective, and easy to whip up, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the skincare is perfect. The Glacial Unscented balm is so moisturizing, soothing, and frigid, while the Floid Vigoroso aftershave has such a beautiful old school barbershop scent and it’s plenty mentholated. What a brilliant BBS shave this was!

CHRISTMAS DAY, 2021

Happy Christmas as they say on the other side (eastern side) of the pond. Just a quick report as we prepare to host Christmas dinner for the clan! We’re expecting 26, children, grandchildren and my sole great-grandchild. Should be a fun time. I'm making my usual garlic encrusted tenderloin. I wish everyone who celebrates Christmas a glorious day with friends and family! This morning’s shave featured my new-to-me Wilbert Cutlery Regal (mug) and my Spadson safety razor (dome). The shave was glorious, how could it not be on this day of days! I’m smooth, cool, clean and velveteen!

RAZOR: Wilbert Cutlery Regal (mug), Spadson Safety Razor (Noggin)
BLADE: Feather DE (Noggin)
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a heavy scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Pre de Provence Bergamot & Thyme AS Balm.
