Mysterious Traveling Box 2021 Tour Round 2

Great gives and takes! Hope you enjoy the 2021 brush I restored (not my best work, but still a great size). @Lancre now you can join the Bakelite Razor Owner Club with that travel razor, though my personal preference I'd probably change the handle.

No catastrophic failures in the box, we are doing well. I hope all participants are enjoying their time with the box.

The box is taking on a state of enduring exceptional quality in its contents.

 

No worries on holding the box for some extra time due to the holidays; it's a busy time and family comes first.

You are correct sir though I still say it was a an uncool move to close that thread down. That's just my opinion and that's only important to me.

Just opened the box. There is a lot of stuff in there! Gonna take a day or 3 to look it all over and decide. And whoever put the "Veg" in there, shame on you.

Sorry for the delay. Got Covid on Christmas Day and have felt horrible since. Think I'll have my wife pack up the box so it can move on. Ya'll don't want this to happen to you.

I want no one to take offense, but if the next recipient desires to quarantine the box for a period of time (days) I all good with that.

Just want everyone to stay healthy.

Do you think maybe it was removed because it should've been in the SOTD thread?. If so, it just should've been moved there, like other "razor type" shave threads that are there.

 

Wasn't me. Rather than touch it, I just decided to leave it in place.

 

I think the soaps should be washed.

So tomorrow I'm going to mask up (again), put on gloves and use disinfectant wipes on everything in the box so it can go out.

 

Good idea. The CDC has indicated that Covid is passed mainly by aerosol means and that just leaving your stuff untouched for a few days is enough to sharply reduce the risk.

Knowing how many individual items were in that box, that ought to keep you busy for hours! But if any future recipient gets the 'Rona, at least your conscience will be clear with this course of action.
