My face is almost numb after this heavy duty menthol assault - this Glacial Wintergreen trio really freezes like there’s no tomorrow. The soap is tallow based like all of Stirling’s, the scent is delightful, the lather is awesome, the menthol sensation clobbers you right away, and the skincare is so soothing. The matching balm and witch hazel felt so wonderfully frigid. A picture perfect three pass BBS shave that was so much fun!

The Arko Shave Stick lathered well with the SlimGem Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A very nice 2 pass shave. With the smaller brush and frequency that I shave (3-4 week max) this puck of MWF is lasting forever. It is over a year old and I still have a few months worth of shaves left. I look forward to breaking something different out after I finish this puck.

 

Sunday Schick shave, Jan 9th 2022

Razor: Schick adjustable injector, model 3- Mfg 1970-72, excellent razor with a good range of aggression and efficentcy, well built to last and I enjoy this razor around 2-3 setting with adequate blade feel. There is more comfort at the lower end settings I enjoy.
Blade: Personna injector, SS PTFE (4) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Gillette pure cream- nice mild scent, excellent lather qualities. This is a great mass produced cream IMO.
Brush: Yaqi Mysterious space 24mm silver tip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, nice gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter. The thinner badger hairs give the softness but with high density knot gives a great scrub also IMO.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(balm) + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Schick adj injector M3 with a coated Personna injector blade.

Perfumer's Choice #9 - Mojo (homage to Tom Ford - Oud Wood)

A favorite razor shaped object.....always fun to use, great shaves, dolphin smooth nearly every time.

First 2022 acquisition, enabled by @Primotenore. Perfumer's Choice (Milton Lloyd) is a 'copy cat' perfumer based in the UK. The #10 'Mojo' fragrance....just incredible. Some of the fragrantica.com reviews say it's an equal, if not better than the original it copies. Their description much better than anything I can put together: No 10 by Mojo by Milton Lloyd is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Number 10 'Mojo' was launched in 2021. Top notes are Aromatic Spices and Brazilian Rosewood; middle notes are Cardamom and Agarwood (Oud); base notes are Sandalwood, Vetiver, Amber and Tonka Bean.

The lower neck was reasonably smooth, but not BBS, by a long shot.
Oud/Rose was the stank du jour.
This combination is very popular and there are many, MANY to choose from.
