Got a box o'junk from my Dad, several beaters included. This 1970s Timex auto is pick of the litter. Cleaned, lightly polished, put on khaki NATO. White faced field watches aren't my style but it's not bad. Runs like a top...John Cameron would be proud. Looks much better in person.
If you can afford to.... I would say do it. It punches way above its weight. I can't say enough about Mako II Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
MkII take on the A11, Cruxible. Black NATO with stainless loops. It's 64f (~17C) outside and I have insomnia. Headed out for a walk by the river. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
Addiesdive, it's Chinese but with a Seiko movement. I think it's the same company as Steeldive. They have a pilot watch that is excellent but I'm waiting for it to go on sale.
I decided to make the 2nd time on my Citizen Nighthawk useful, by setting it to New York time. That's the time zone of our company's head office, and part of the support team.
I replaced the original green canvas strap on my Seiko5 with a dark brown leather one. It suits the watch far better.
I think many people have this watch, or had it at some point. Nice one, and a good match with that strap!
https://www.armitron.com/collections/retro-collection/products/the-griffy-blue-silver-black Got one of these on clearance at WM for $24. Gold is $40, so that's regular retail I guess. It's a neato throwback to the mid 1979s.
