Awesome first run with the Yaqi Telstar head. Three nice smooth passes. The Telstar is very efficient. I just need to dial it in a little more.

Razor: Yaqi V2"Tile" 316SS with a Yaqi handle- Mfg 2021> great mild range with a standard Gillette blade, mid range with a Kai SS extra wide blade. Machined surface are adequate and closer Machining QC surfaces on Version 2 Tile razor head IMO. Good daily driver for a lot of folks.
Blade: Gillette Nacet(1) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with great longevity. Still testing the razor with a different blade.
Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian Sandal wood cream, nice sandal wood scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Robin 24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split ends bristle hair, great scrubber, great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel cleanse + Ogallala Bayrum with Sandal wood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Result: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irrtiation + 1 blemish weeper= excellent shave with my Yaqi V2Tile razor with a Nacet blade.

Very nice shave with the Lund near wedge. Near wedges are always a little challenging for me but I do like their unique feel

Sample Signature Saturday
The fila keeps going and going…
I think the scent is very nice on Signature , but I have a few in the queue ahead first. The performance is excellent, I don’t know if this scent is in my wheelhouse tho. However I was able to whip up a wonderful lather in the captain’s choice bowl with the Fanchurian. It really performed fantastic in its just second use. First Gel knot top for me so it was kinda weird putting on the lather as it felt like I was getting punched in the face by a very small cotton ball glove is the best way I can say it.
So soft.
lol.
I never bowl lather but thought I would see what this guy could do.
Fun shave.

Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Geo F. Trumper Violet Shaving Cream.
Blade: Treet Black Carbon. (D2)
Razor:1940's Thin Handle Gillette Flat Bottom Tech. (ENG)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel ASL./Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

It's been a while since i last used The G F. Trumper Violet shaving cream and forgot how much i really like it's unique scent only a small amount is needed to create a excellent lather for the full shave leaving a superb post shave feel.
The Treet Black Carbon paired together well with my 1940's vintage tech making a smooth efficient duo.. A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups close shave with no errors to report..


Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel on it's maiden outing...An excellent post shave application.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

The Shannon's Soaps Indigo Oud Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher Razor with a Star Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Classic Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The menthol sensation from this Glacial Obsidian is absolutely off the charts - it’s so cold that it feels almost borderline painful. (In a good way of course!) The black licorice scent to me is lovely, the lather is such a pleasure to whip up, there’s so much slickness, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave soothed my face and intensified the freeze immensely. Three passes left me smoother than silk!
