It’s been a little while since I used the Cherry Freeze soap so I decided to go with it today. This is the tallow version which has a great scent, awesome lather, lots of menthol, and a terrific postshave feeling. The Prep and the Alt Innsbruck aftershave left my skin feeling well chilled, soothed, and smelling beautiful. Three passes gave me a perfect BBS shave!

The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop A2 Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72-Mfg 2021> excellent mid range, very well designed and clamping of blade is exceptional, great finish and well machined QC. It seems mostly a carefree shave 96% of the time. Technique has this razor dialed in perfect.
Blade: Gillette Nacet (2) excellent blade, Sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap: Razorock The Dead Sea, unique scent with excellent lather qualities. I always enjoy this soap.
Brush: Yaqi Cavern lake 24mm tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator + cloud like soft tips, great scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock The Dead Sea with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Gillette Nacet blade.

The razor is a big fail.
So i think its suppose to be adjustable? One side has a 1 stamp and the other has a 2 stamp. But like all vintage plastic or bakelite razors, its beyond mild. When you tighten the handle the cap pushes the blade down until it closes shut, but if i loosen it the gap opens and it shaves fine. The problem is the head continues to loosen. Too bad i really wanted to like this unique looking razor.

This is my second time using this limited edition soap and the soap is fantastic. The scent is definitely a fall/winter scent. The aftershave… well the alcohol is separating. The first application is straight up rubbing alcohol and i have too shake the lotion to mix. I think Razor Emporium needs to work on the formula a little more.

Well the RWNN Razor gets a name now as I found it accidentally in Waits Compendium. It is the Daisy Safety Razor with a patent applied for in 1906 and issued in 1911. It takes some heavy modifying of a Gem blade by removing the spin and using metal nips to narrow the width of the blade to fit. Comes out a snug fit but usable as this is the 2nd time I've used this razor. Mine may be an earlier make of it as my box does not have the name on it under the picture as seen in Waits' picture. Nor does mine have the engraving of the name on it as can be seen comparing Waits' pics versus mine. Only engraving on mine is "PAT NOV 14,1911" If this was marketed for women, I see why it didn't last. It's an aggressive razor for sure and I can't pcture this doing well in the curve of their armpits. With care it can yield a smooth and comfortable shave which is what this morning was for me. Glad to have this piece of history in the den and need to do a video with it if I haven't yet..........Off to burn brush on the hillside today. Have a great day and weekend Everyone !
