For today’s shave, I used the “? by Tom”. Two passes with it left me with a BBS shave. Fantastic!

 

stirling soaps are hard to beat on many levels.

 

Tuesday

Soap: Southern Witchcrafts Incorporeal
Brush: That Darn Rob with Synbad knot
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium (5)
After: CeraVe cream

Very comfortable, smooth shave. Lather was excellent, whipped up by the big soft synthetic knot on the That Darn Rob brush. This 26mm Synbad knot from AP ShaveCo is a pleasure to use. Surprisingly, the 24mm Synbad knot that I used yesterday on my Certifyd restoration, does not feel like the same knot as the 26mm. The 26mm knot is soft and luxurious. The 24mm knot feels a little scratchy on the face and is not a pleasure to use.

Day 5 with the Wizamet blade and it is still feeling smooth.

The Williams Mug Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #425 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick J Injector Razor with a Chinese Schick Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Here is my Shave of the Day (09.02.2022)


Preshave: Grooming Dept. Moisturizing Preshave unscented // Razor: Merkur 1904 OC // Blade: Voshkod-Gillette Bleue Extra // Soap: PannaCrema Lavandotto // Brush: Semogue OC Boar // Aftershave: Ach.Brito Lavanda

Good shave. But today is has been clear, that the Voshkod will not be a blade for me. The first strokes were uncomfortable and rough. So after the first pass i switched over to a trusted Gillette Bleue Extra with 3 shaves on it. Night and Day difference even the Gillette had already three shaves…

Till this point i already had several red spots and irritations from the Voshkod…

Ended the shave which was good but not as i wanted it to be.

I can highly recommend the Preshave from Grooming Dept. Nice texture and puts a great additional layer of protection to your skin. The Aftershave was adorable as every time. This scent is stunning.
