Arrived today from @brit. Razors, cases, brushes, blades, parts and samples. The Old Type handle with the hole on the bottom will go to the #44 New LC set I got from @tonich. One of the Milord razors is in excellent condition and will replace the one in I have in my case. Always wanted to get a Cooper Monobilt, and now I have one. The Auto-Strop case I'll be gutting out to make a case for Gary..............
A couple new arrivals this week. First is a Gillette flare tip rocket. The second one is a Feather 4-piece open comb razor with case. I can't seem to find much info out there on this one. If anyone can help ID this set & when manufactured it would be much appreciated.
I keep seeing this head showing up. I'm on a bit of a Yaqi kick at the moment so maybe I'll grab one. I've had a few of these where I honestly had a hard time remembering what it was that I found interesting at the time I bid on it.
This one just arrived from Portugal today. A British made Personna DE razor usually referred to as the BBS-0. Mfg. late 50s or early 60s??? In a quote from an article on the Sharpologist website, "Nicknamed the BBS-0, this razor was a throw-away item given to first class passengers on certain airlines. It consists of an aluminum handle and metal head. The dimensions are similar and the parts of this razor are interchangeable with the BBS-1. Although a nice shaver it’s extremely mild and even harder to find than a BBS-1."
A silver Schick repeating razor. Cleaned, slightly polished and new blade inserted for tonights shave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had bought this aristocrat case with a broken single ring in it and was going to sell it off but decided it would make a great home for my double ring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
