The Mother of all Grand Freezes!

What a pity that this Glacial Spearmint soap and balm were discontinued because I think that they’re both so terrific. The scent is gorgeous - it filled the bathroom while I was lathering up, the lather was so rich, super slick, protective, and FRIGID, with such a soothing, moisturizing postshave feeling. The matching balm has that same delightful scent with lots of moisturizing as well as lots of menthol, and Fernando’s Frosted Spearmint aftershave has the SAME scent along with a killer cold menthol sensation. Three passes left me completely BBS and feeling great!

A hell of a Grand Freeze!

Three fantastic artisans contributed to this shave this morning - Rod from Stirling Soaps, Jaco from Bundubeard, and Fernando from Master Soap Creations. Rod’s mentholated pre shave soap is so moisturizing, it’s really cooling, and it leaves the skin feeling spotlessly clean. Jaco’s glycerine based Vanilla X 3 soap has such a nice scent, it lathers so thick, rich, and slick, the menthol sensation is so intense that it competes to any of the Stirling Glacials, and the skincare is excellent. The Prep gives me wonderful additional postshave care, and Fernando’s Peppermint Latte aftershave is witch hazel based so there’s no burning or stinging, it smells delightful, and it’s a menthol atom bomb. The Gillette Platinum blade is starting to dull out but I still got a terrific three pass BBS shave!

This Glacial version of MITA has three times more menthol than the regular one so as soon as you start lathering up your face starts to freeze. The scent is the same - it’s citrusy/tropical in a beautiful way, the lather is so rich, slick, and protective, the menthol sensation is so intense, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep gave me lots of additional postshave care, and the Snake Bite aftershave (I finally finished the bottle!) went on frigidly cold. Three enjoyable passes got me ultra BBS!

The more I use this Glacial version of Electric Sheep the more I love it. It has the same beautiful lemony/citronella/eucalyptus scent as the regular version, the mutton tallow formula makes the lather so rich, the slickness is fantastic, the menthol sensation is only for a hard core menthol monkey like me, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep is so moisturizing as well as cooling and soothing for my skin - not to mention how much I love the medicinal scent, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave is loaded with menthol as well as a gorgeous old school barbershop scent that I absolutely love. The Gillette Platinum blade is nearly finished, yet I still managed to get a fabulous, enjoyable three pass BBS shave!

Wintergreen scented icicles in my face - this setup is not for the faint of heart because it can freeze you to smithereens. The Glacial Wintergreen soap’s lovely scent filled the bathroom, the lather was so rich, slick, and protective, the menthol sensation pummelled my face right from the start, and the postshave feeling was perfect. The matching balm and witch hazel kept the freeze going. The Bleu de Chanel is the most gorgeous fragrance I’ve ever used in my entire life - it gets me so many compliments. The 7 AM blade is performing very well after almost a week - it helped to get me smoother than silk!

The menthol power of this Glacial Electric Sheep soap is off the charts like all the other Glacials - this is the first and only mutton tallow based Glacial and I think it’s magnificent. The scent is the same as the regular version of Electric Sheep - a lovely blend of lemon, citronella, and eucalyptus, along with powerful menthol fumes, the lather is so rich, super slick, and protective, the menthol sensation batters your face immediately, and the skincare is perfect - no dryness or irritation whatsoever. The Prep always delivers on the moisturizing and soothing along with its own special cooling sensation as well as its nice Noxzema like scent, and the Snake Bite aftershave is unscented so it doesn’t disrupt the gorgeous fragrance of the Bleu de Chanel, and it’s mega frigid. Another fabulous BBS shave which I enjoyed so much!

The Ingram Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #415 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with The Single Edge SE Razor with a Supply Black Label Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My face will need all day to thaw out from this menthol bombardment - even the mentholated pre shave soap from Stirling felt pretty cold although nowhere even close to the Kameelperd. Would you guys believe that I’m still using a 250 gram puck that I received almost four years ago and it’s still going strong? I love the rich, exotic coffee/peppermint scent, the glycerine formula gives it awesome lather, the menthol sensation is so potent that it’s a match for any of the Stirling Glacials, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave completed the soothing and the frigidity. Another tip top three pass BBS shave!

If this shave was any colder my face would have disintegrated - this Glacial Black Cherry soap packs such a lethal menthol wallop along with a beautiful scent. Along with the black cherry I think there’s a bit of a vanilla note, the lather is perfect, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as comfortable. The Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel is very mildly scented and comfortable on my skin, the Prep feels so good, and the Osage Rub’s minty/eucalyptus scent to me is very nice and the menthol sensation is so intense. Three passes left me totally BBS - what a great shave!
