Razor: Yaqi Flipside or Dual comb- Mfg 2019> nice mild side(OC) mid range on scalloped Safety bar side, designed to knock worse of the beard off on the OC side and the scalloped side SB takes off the rest easily. The scalloped side picks off the flat laying hairs quite easily IMO(narrow lip). 1st Dual comb in the collection of razors and works well IMO.
Blade : Personna red (1) sharp & smooth with great longevity, top tier blade for myself.
Soap: Razorock blue barber "what the puck"- mid range scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm 2band badger mountain lake- excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, great scrubber+ great painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock blue barber AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Yaqi flip side DE with a Personna Red blade.

I forgot to show you my Sunday Shave (27.02.2022)


Razor: RazoRock Lupo Aluminum with Rockwell 6S Handle // Blade: Feather // Soap: SV Tundra Artica / Brush: PAA Green Ray // Aftershave: Dapper Dan Green

Good shave. The only issue has been the blade. The Feather was on its 3rd shave and was a little uncomfortable. A little pulling and tugging. First i thought it was me who had the wrong angle with the razor, but no…it has been the blade. After the first pass i switched over to a used Asco blade and maaaaan, what a difference. Night and Day…where the Feather shaved roughly, the Asco glided smoothly without effort.

So, that makes the Feather not a blade for me.

The soap has a fantastic scent. Spicy with hints of dried wood. Wellness. The brush (maybe with THE) softest tips i ´ve ever had in my face had no problems whipping up a great lather. Slick and very protective.

I ended an irritation free shave in 3 good passes. The Dapper Dan Green smells so oldschool, it is a pure joy to use. Lasts quite 2-3 hours on the skin. When the Menthol kicks in and you have used a bit too much, your eyes will start watering, but hey…that is a risk i take.

I have looked at that brush a few times now and couldn’t make up my mind. Seeing it with all the rest of the gear makes me realize how much I like the colors.

I’m happy to hear that you are enjoying these blades as well. I had a very good initial impression of them being sharp and smooth but wasn’t sure about longevity. I’m up to five shaves on one and it shows no signs of going south.

I just got a sample of this soap and am really pleased with it. It’s surprising how soft it is. It only takes me a tiny amount to get a bowlful of lather.

Razor: Razorock 2nd /gen Lupo.72- Mfg 2021> nice mid range, great design, excellent machined tolerances, very enjoyable to shave with in the morning. Not much to shave off this morning from a close shave yesterday but the lupo.72 worked well.
Blade: Personna red(2)- excellent blade, sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian sandal wood cream, very nice mid range scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Artic sky synthetic- excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso red sandal wood with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Personna red blade.

Nice at Nine
This was the ninth shave on this blade and it was just as smooth and efficient as the first. I'm pretty impressed with this razor so far.
