I recently won an auction for what I thought was one GEM Jr. with the baton handle, a razor that I have been wanting to try. It turns out that the auction was for two of them so now I have a spare. This is such an excellent shaver. The blade guard lets just enough of the edge touch the face to get an exceptionally close shave but not enough to catch the skin and cause nicks. I'm sure it's possible but this just felt so mild but efficient.

I had heard good things about Stirling's Haverford but hadn't yet tried it. I order samples of the soap and splash and the fragrance is amazing. My wife says it's her favorite so far out of everything I have tried and I am close to agreeing with her. Even now, well over 12 hours later, I can still smell it a bit.

I ended up with an exceptionally smooth BBS result. My face is still completely smooth over 12 hours later. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Simple Pure Bar Soap.
Brush: Frank Shaving 22mm Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Fine Fresh Vetiver Shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D2)
Razor: Schick Type G Injector.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./L'OREAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB./Milton Lloyd Cobalt EdT.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

It's been a while since i last added the fine fresh vetiver soap to my soap rotation and forgot how good of a lather this soap gives in a short space of time.

Another wonderful performance from the Schick Type G injector....Every shave that I've had with this vintage injector has been close and comfortable. Today was no exception.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report... Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd Cobalt EdT to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The Indigo Oud Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #415 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Lather Catcher Razor with a Henckels Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The more I use this Vintage Spice soap and aftershave the more I love them - they both have the EXACT same delightful scent as the discontinued Shulton Old Spice soap and aftershave. The soap’s tallow formula gives it such wonderful lather with awesome slickness, and great skincare. The Fino balm is unscented, and the moisturizing, soothing effect from it is terrific, and the Vintage Spice aftershave is witch hazel based so there’s no burning or stinging - just a nice comfortable feeling with that gorgeous Old Spice scent that I love so much. Three passes left me smoother than silk!

Sunday Schick shave, March6th 2022

Razor: Schick E2 injector, Canadian variant- Mfg 1930-40's excellent mid range, approx 1OZ weight Excellent shaves 95% of the time.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector(7) Sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap: Italian barber Amici, nice grapefruit scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Goblin 24mm synthetic- excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + Scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Schick E2 injector with a Personna blade.
