    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Simple Pure Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
    Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Pearl Man Shaver's Spirit Shaving Soap.
    Blade: RK Stainless. ( D1)
    Razor: Parker 99r.

    Post:
Cold water Face Wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Duru Lemon Cologne./Cien Sensitive ASB./ Milton Lloyd Essentials No9 EdP.

    Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Maiden shave with the RK stainless. First impression?.. Performance & feel they're very much like the Sunny Supreme Stainless "Not too sharp, and not too dull"...I didn't have any dulling issues throughout the shave and paired together well with the Parker 99r making a smooth non-aggressive efficient subcontinent duo.

A enjoyable close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd Essentials No9 EdP to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

I stuck with the Lavender cream today (one of my favs), Proraso pre-shave cream, Soap measured by Mickey. I opted for my Parker 87R and a Japanese Stainless blade. Simpson's brush and Proraso balm. These blades give me a nice close shave and the Parker is a fav razor. Winter storm warning in effect so, I went for comfort. Also used the alum bar to condition face after shaving was done.

    DE Shave # 388

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: PAA Prismatic
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Hembree Derlin Paragon Boar 25 mm
Lather: Blackship Grooming Company La Concorde
Aftershave: Black Ship Grooming Co. La Concorde
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Happy Saturday folks. We have a dreary weather day with the precipitation that I would venture to guess my fellow LI DC member, Joe, @Trigger, would prefer. Our friends slightly to the north by about 50 miles will be dealing with a lot more of the white stuff.

The only white stuff I prefer to deal with is the glorious lather produce by the Derlin boar as it met up with the BSG soap. The soap has a nice crisp barbershop scent and the aftershave has surprising longevity.

Thr three pass shave with the PAA Prismatic and the GSB blade have my face Uber smooth. The post shave alum report was silent. I am smelling good and ready to hit the neighborhood. Don’t worry Paul, @Paul Turner, I will leave the roaming of the aisles and the ladies of Walmart to you. :D.

I hope you all have a great start to your weekend.

Nice setup and shave Barry. Smooth and efficient blades are the best. I like using those types of blades in my shavettes because they are more forgiving. Have an excellent afternoon.

Question: Rinse the brush before or after the loading?
I would thinks if you rinsed after there would not be any soap left to paint on your face. Maybe I have misunderstood.
Other than that, this is a fabulous shave Paul.

Great shave Joe, but your pic doesn't match your list in your setup. Yes, I hate snow, but I am not thrilled with rainy days on the weekend. Have a great day.

Fantastic shave Hogie. Who is Mickey? Winter Storm Warning: Upstate New York, Connecticut or Massachusetts?
