  1. Nice avatar, Gary :).
  2. Fantastic shaves, gentlemen!
  3. I met a friend today and gave him a sample of TOBS Peppermint, a brush that I didn't use often and 30 Astra greens.
    He gave me these: IMG_20220312_221223_537.jpg
So now I have something new to experiment with. :D
Didn't have a good container for the sample so I emptied my Proraso green tub into my shaving mug. Maybe I'll try to use it up during my next focus.
  4. Thank you, MrD.
  5. Arko is a great soap.
  6. Thanks Daniel.
  7. It is, and the price is great too.

6/30. Just a relaxing midnight shave. Had to work a bit harder on some problem areas, so I'll use a fresh blade for the next shave.

    Have a great night, gents.
  9. Looking good Daniel.

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Simple Pure Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
    Lather: Derby Normal Shaving Cream.
    Blade: RK Stainless. (D2)
    Razor: parker 22r.

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Gummy Traditional Turkish Lavender Cologne./The Real Shaving Co. SPF15 Anti-Ageing Moisturiser.

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The RK Stainless felt super smooth & efficient on it's second outing....I find that some DE blades especially stainless & teflon coated ones start show to their true potential after a few shaves... This seems to be the case with the RK Stainless.
The derby normal shaving cream doesn't have much of a fragrance, which for me personally isn't a great issue. It's slickness protection and post shave feel make up for it's lack of fragrance.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report....Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of The Real Shaving Co. SPF15 Anti-Ageing Moisturiser.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay Safe, and enjoy your Sunday Ladies & Gentlemen.

  19. I had typed a whole note and then my network quit responding like it seems to daily now....all lost. I have to reboot to regain my network. Diagnosis comes up blank!!!

New razor. Viking's Blade Emperor Meiji set on 5 for 2 passes with minor cleanup. Japanese Stainless blade. Proraso morning with sandalwood pre-shave and shave cream. Edwin Jaggar after-shave balm.
Whipped in my Shave Nation ceramic bowl using my Classic Shaving synthetic brush

  20. Vib'Raz/Feather, homemade oil, TJ Honey Mango. Not that I'm in a hurry but this combo, with adequate pressure applied, allows for a single software application multidirectional one "pass" shave in ridiculously short time. Just great. [IMG]
