It was a gift from my mother in law. But i can source it locally easily if i wanted to. The soap performs extremely well and its a hard soap. The lavender scent is a a very nice one and smells like a lavender bush. Soap has nice slickness and lathers easily. Im not a soap connoisseur to he honest, but i have a lot of soap. So I will say that this soap does do one thing that others dont.. the lather tends to coagulate, im not sure thats exactly the word im looking for or what it is but the lather clumps together and almost seems like its drying out. So im going to say its a thirsty soap and I’m pretty sure you wont be disappointed with it. Im at the very end of it and i transferred it to my mug since i only had a ring around the tub.

Here is my Shave of the Day (13.03.2022)


Razor: Mulcuto (New Model) // Blade: Personna red // Soap: Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber // Brush: PAA Green Ray // Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman

Good shave. The razor is a loan from a nice buddy in our German FB group. I am a „Mulcuto Schrägschnitt“ Fanboy so i was intrigued to try the new version. Open and Closed comb. Of what i have heared the razor should be very mild. The razor is from „good“ quality. Not more not less.

How has the shave been will you ask? It was ok. The razor is definitely THE mildest razor i had ever on my skin. This mildness causes, that it is not that thoroughly. You need to go over one spot (especially in my trouble spots) multiple time with a bit of pressure.

It paired very well with the red Personna, the shave went irritation free but there are other razors (even cheaper razors) which can do the job quite better. So, i am happy to test this razor, but i will not going to buy it.

The soap is fantastic. The scent is a Barbershop type scent added with a bit of gunpowder which makes it even more lovely. Glide, cushion and skincare are top notch. I love this soap.

The brush had no problems whipping up a great great lather in no time. It has the softest tips i have known so far for a synthetic. Splays very good and has almost no backbone, but exactly this is what i love.

The Pinaud Clubman gave the „Oldschool“ feeling at the end of the shave. So classy. I think i should use this stuff more often.

Sunday Schick shave. March 13th 2022

Razor: Schick injector M3 adjustable- Mfg 1970-72, nice razor to use, a little longer handle than I desire but built to last.
Blade: Personna injector SS PTFE(6) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian Sandal wood, nice sandal wood scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Artic sky silvertip badger, excellent lather generator heavenly soft pillow like tips, nice scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper=Excellent shave with my Schick M3 injector with a coated Personna blade.

If this shave was any colder my face would have disintegrated - this Glacial Black Cherry soap packs such a lethal menthol wallop along with a beautiful scent. Along with the black cherry I think there’s a bit of a vanilla note, the lather is perfect, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as comfortable. The Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel is very mildly scented and comfortable on my skin, the Prep feels so good, and the Osage Rub’s minty/eucalyptus scent to me is very nice and the menthol sensation is so intense. Three passes left me totally BBS - what a great shave!

I got the RepliTech razor and a boatload of blades from the TSD Raffle courtesy of AztecMike. Thought I should try it out but wasn't really thinking that this would work out to well. Surprise!! The darn thing shaved like....well.... A Tech. The Bic Astor blade was a surprise also, it was smooth, comfortable and effective. Why have I not heard much about these blades? In the RepliTech, it worked very well indeed. So, it was a revelation and a good one at that, my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
