Friday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap Jayaruh #424 Gillette Fatboy G2 Nacet Stainless CWR Lustray Spice After Shave The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #424 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Fatboy G2 with a Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Today would have been my Dad's birthday. He would have been 108. He made it to 83 and had a good life.

SE SOTD, Fri, April 1st 2022 Razor : Valet auto-strop, C1 Canadian variant- Mfg 1920's, I modified gap from 11/1000 to 7/1000 inch & this made a huge difference in comfort of the shave, precious owner changed this I figure and neglected the razor. Works like a charm. Blade :Gem Personna SS PTFE (4) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable. Soap :Razorock WTP Orange- nice orange citrus scent mid strength + excellent lather qualities. Brush : Razorock 24mm Noir 400 synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great scrub + great lather painter. Pre shave : Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2. Post shave: Razorock Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless) Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my C1 Valet Auto strop with modified a coated Gem blade Have some great shaves!

#sotd Rex Envoy with Strangelete Blood Oath with S2 by Rich Man Shaving Orange Barbershop made with Camel Fat Yurii Kravchenko #resistance and since this soap scent leans towards Aventish the splash is Tight Lines by 345 Soap Co. Being the freshest version I know Awesome shave, this razor! So very efficient yet not aggressive, this one is on my new front of the line DE shaver for sure.
